Stoli's new marketing campaign is tied to another icon in the Bad Decisions industry, that's right, Playboy. They're rolling out a year's worth of promotions with Playboy with everything from changing their logo on one of their flavors to the Playboy Bunny logo to these commercials with Hef himself. I'm a media whore when it comes to cool commercials.  George Clooney's Martini commercials are some of the best out there and this new one from Diddy and Ciroc is damned good. It's Diddy partying to one of Sinatra's tunes and it was actually filmed in one of Sinatra's previous homes.  Kickass.

It's so funny that stars will pimp stuff overseas that they'd never do over here. I'm not sure what the reasoning is but at least we can still see them on YouTube.

He's a whole lot of man and always fun to watch.

Remember when beer commercials were always just completely freakin' awesome? It seems like the beer companies have gotten a bit lackadaisical about entertaining us in the name of some old guy telling me how their beer is made. Stampede brings back the glory days with the GREATEST BEER COMMERCIAL OF ALL TIME. (This week).

42 Below's meteoric rise from the plucky vodka-that-could made in a country that's only other contributions to the world market were Lord of the Rings, Nuclear Free Zones, and Flight of the Conchords is starting to take off with their new found marketing dollars. They've launched a slew of viral videos that actually have the chance of being viral because they're worth watching. My favorite is "Canada" (below) but don't miss out on Good Thought , Bestest , Wallaby , Feijoa (Non-sequitur humor is the best), Bees , and Cows (a message about not abusing cows in any way...or rabbits). 42 Below Vodka

Smirnoff Source is the new malt liquor that is advertised as "Alcohol + Water." The alcopop is the first to contain pure spring water and a malt-based alcohol. It has 3.5% ABV and is supposed to have less calories than most beers out there. The commercial is pretty damned cool and features a song by The Rapture as water moves to the beat like a graphic equalizer.

Suddently the "Absolut World" ads aren't as clever. Here's the latest:

Riot control goes wrong in this Absolut commercial that's part of the launch of their new campaign. Edit: The song is “Boum” by/par Charles Trénet (1937). The commercial was filmed in Uruguay and was the largest production in the country's history.

With the help of award-winning director Tommy Kuntz, composer John Frizzell and production company MJZ, the brand has created an exclusive web adventure show dripping with flavor. In this episode, Tony Sinclair and his crew search for the rare Rangpur lime and find much more – a new mixable gin, Tanqueray Rangpur. I haven't had a chance to try this stuff, but if you're in to 10 minute commercials, this one's about as good as they come.

Reyka Vodka came out with some clever new commercials, made by the same people that did The Knot , which are now, sadly, not being run because they were just too tough, even though they were advertising classics. Check out my favorite Reyka commercial, the rest are on YouTube.

Okay, so I've gone to flat out pimping a product. I got yet another e-mail that says it's "viral" and I bought it and here it is. The difference here is that it's from the same people that made the hilarious " Tea Partay " This one, however, brings some of your favorite actors of old together in to one out-of-tune song.
